TOM VEK

Thomas Timothy Vernon-Kell, known as Tom Vek, is an English self-taught multi-instrumentalist. The UK-based recording artist, who made a lasting impression with his cult classic 2005 debut album ‘We Have Sound’, is hitting the road this autumn with his full band. Following the release of his self-produced EP, ‘Confirm Yourself’, Tom is set to embark on a 12-date UK tour, his most extensive tour in ten years.

After exploring an avant-garde mix of sounds on his fourth album, ‘New Symbols’, Tom’s ‘Confirm Yourself’ EP marks a return to a raw, guitar-driven live sound. Staying true to his fiercely independent approach, Tom played every instrument and took on production and mixing duties for the EP himself. The collection offers self-assured personal mantras, encouraging listeners to “Confirm Yourself” as well.
