The Belair Lip Bombs
INDIE
The Prince Albert, Brighton
The Belair Lip Bombs are a four-piece indie rock band from Frankston, Victoria, known for their heartfelt, hook-laden songs. Formed in 2017, the group—Maisie, Mike, Jimmy, and Dev—built a strong following supporting acts like Spacey Jane, Ladyhawke, and Slowly Slowly. They released their self-titled debut EP in 2018, followed by *Songs to Do Your Laundry To* in 2019, and continued to evolve with standout singles like *Out of Here*.
In 2023, they released their debut album, *Lush Life*, exploring themes of longing and self-fulfillment. The album was initially released on Cousin Will Records before being reissued by Jack White’s Third Man Records, marking the label’s first Australian release.
Since then, The Belair Lip Bombs have performed globally at SXSW, The Great Escape, Laneway Festival, and Golden Plains, supporting bands like Hockey Dad and Blondshell. Now, they’re working on their sophomore album, set for release on Third Man Records in 2025.
