gglum, the musical persona of 19-year-old Ella Smoker from Croydon, London, gained attention with her self-released debut single “Why Don’t I Care?” in 2020, amassing over 150k streams. Known for her dreamy bedroom pop and underground R&B influences, she draws inspiration from artists like girl in red and Clairo. Currently working on her second EP, gglum continues to evolve her sound while maintaining her signature relatable lyrics and layered harmonies.
