Bricknasty quickly rose to prominence as one of Ireland's most exciting live acts. Originating in Ballymun during the 2020 lockdown, this project has transformed into a full-fledged band with Fatboy on vocals and guitar, Korey Thomas on drums, and Dara Abdurahman on bass. Their sound is a vibrant mix of Neo-Soul, R&B, and hip-hop, showcasing their eclectic influences. Recognized in District Magazine’s Future of Irish Music 2021 and celebrated by BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders for their genre-blending approach, Bricknasty combines soulful melodies with energetic rhythms, drawing from a range of musical styles and cultural influences.
