BLOG 3 WEEKEND 1 BANNER

OTB WEEKEND 1, YOU WERE UNREAL!

Wow, what a weekend! We’re still buzzing from the incredible vibes and epic performances at the On the Beach festival. From sunny skies to jaw-dropping sets, it was an unforgettable three days. And guess what? We get to do it all over again this weekend!

Here are some of our highlights from last weekend:

On Friday, Ross from Friends hit the stage and totally blew us away with his chill lo-fi house and electronic grooves. As a lo-fi house luminary, Ross from Friends has consistently proven his talent, and his performance felt like a sonic hug for the soul—absolutely mesmerising.

Bicep followed, setting the beach ablaze with their hypnotic beats and mind-bending visuals. Their set turned the beach into a non-stop dance party. The experience of their visuals alongside a full moon will live in our minds rent-free.

Saturday saw Boys Noize bring the house down (or should we say, the beach) with his electrifying beats. The German electronic music producer packed the dance floor, and the energy was off the charts. We’re still feeling the afterglow!

Then Underworld took the stage. Their set was nothing short of legendary. With classic tracks and a powerful stage presence, they delivered a night we’ll never forget. As The Argus put it:

"Just next to the stage, a bright rainbow formed over the sea. Mother Nature must clearly be a fan of Underworld."

Sunday was no less spectacular. Brooke Combe graced us with her soulful voice and captivating stage presence. Her set was an emotional rollercoaster in the best possible way, and we were all hanging on every note—what a performance!

And then came the one and only, Kate Nash. She lit up the stage with her energy and catchy tunes, turning the crowd into a chorus as we sang her lyrics back to her. Does it get any better?

To top it all off, The Kooks closed out the festival with a homecoming set that felt like a warm hug from Brighton. They even treated us to a cover of “Praise You” by Fatboy Slim—a perfect nod to our city. Plus, we got to sit down with them for an exclusive interview, which will be coming out soon! 👀
